Readiness aligned with the country’s ambitions and people
Jordan has 7 projects approved by the GCF board with a value of USD 309 million and has 4 funding proposals of USD 1.7 billion in the pipeline, of which 2 are at the national level. Since 2017, the country has been actively growing its capacity and enhanced access to climate finance with the readiness support programme in various result areas, most notably focusing on country programming, private sector mobilisation, and a diversified pipeline.
